About Us

The Greely Community Association is a non partisan, not-for-profit volunteer-based organization working to promote community interests and quality of life for the residents and business owners of Greely.

In line with its guiding principles, the GCA:

  • Communicates issues, activities and opportunities which may be of interest to the Greely residents and business owners;
  • Provides a forum for discussing & gathering views on community issues;
  • Strives to attain consensus on issues and provide a common voice;
  • Conveys outcomes to the public’s attention;
  • Represents the common interests of residents and business owners of Greely and acts as a liaison with municipal, provincial and federal levels of government when needed;
  • Initiates and facilitates social, educational, recreational and other programs considered desirable to the community;
  • Cooperates with and supports other communities in activities and projects in the pursuit of common interests; and
  • Solicits grants, donations, sponsorships, gifts, legacies and bequests in order to achieve the GCA’s mission.
